Bicycle parts catalog · Austin, TX
Bicycle parts, checked for fit before we quote them.
Chains, cassettes, wheels, tyres, brake pads and the small stuff for road, city and kids' bikes. Send us the speed count and the wheel size. We aim to reply within one business day with the part, the check we ran and an indicative price: tubes from $7, chains from $24, wheelsets from $140 a pair.
Your message is read by a former shop mechanic at our desk in Austin. The same person who runs the fit check writes your reply. How the desk works.

How the desk works
Fit first.
Every one of us at the desk is a former shop mechanic. We have stood at the counter while somebody's new part went back in its box because it did not fit. That is why we ask before we quote.
Every part we suggest goes through a compatibility check, and the check is printed in the reply right next to the part. Speed count. Freehub standard. Brake mount. Axle. ISO wheel size. Valve type. You see why the part fits, not just a promise that somebody looked. If one of those six is missing from your message we ask for it before we quote anything, because a wrong guess costs you a return trip and costs us a part that comes back scuffed.
Tell us the speed count before anything else. An 11-speed chain is 5.5 mm wide. A 10-speed is 5.9. They are not the same part, and the wrong one will feel fine in the stand.
Send a photo of the rear dropout. It answers half our questions. Hanger shape, axle type, brake mount and frame eyelets are all sitting in that one picture, and it beats a model name every time.
The five wrong orders we see most, in order
- 11-speed chain on a 10-speed cassette. It runs for a week, then skips under load on the climb out of the lights.
- Cassette ordered for the wrong freehub. Shimano HG, SRAM XDR and Microspline do not interchange. No spacer fixes that.
- Flat-mount calipers for a post-mount frame. Adapters exist for some pairs, not all, and none of them are a clean answer.
- Schrader tubes for a kids' rim drilled for Presta. Or the other way round. One leaks at the hole, the other will not go through it.
- A 20 in tyre picked by the big number. Most kids' bikes sold as 20 inch roll on ISO 406. A few run 451. Read the sidewall. The small number is the one that matters.

From message to parcel
Five steps, and the third one is ours.
- You send the bike. Speed count, wheel size off the sidewall, brake type, and a photo of the rear dropout. Use the form below, the contact page or the chat. If you are unsure what to read off the frame, the five compatibility checks walk you through it in about ten minutes.
- We read it the same day it lands, Mon to Fri. If something is missing we ask one short question instead of guessing.
- We run the fit check. Width against speed count, cassette against freehub, pads against caliper, tube against rim drilling. Chains get a length check from your chainstay and gearing, the same sum our chain length calculator shows.
- The reply goes out within one business day, as a target. Each part, the check next to it, and a price. The number in our reply is the one we will hold for seven days.
- You confirm by email or phone. Nothing is charged through this site and nothing ships until you say yes. Parts go out bagged and tagged with the check written on the tag.
Sample reply
What a reply looks like.
This is the layout of every answer we send. The bike and the figures below are a worked example, not a customer's order.
The tag on each bag repeats the line from the reply. If a part turns out not to fit and the check on the tag was ours, the wrong-fit return is on us.
Before you write
Questions people ask at the counter.
Can you match a part from the bike's model name?
Sometimes, but we will not bet your money on it. The same model name has shipped with three different freehubs and two brake mounts over a few model years, and the hanger can change mid-season. A photo of the rear dropout settles it in seconds. If you cannot take one, tell us the year and where the bike was bought and we will say plainly how sure we are.
Are the prices on the site binding?
No. Prices on this site are indicative. The number in our reply is the one we will hold for seven days. After that we check stock and supplier cost again before we confirm. The full wording is in the inquiry terms.
Will you quote a hydraulic brake part blind?
We don't quote hydraulic brakes blind. Mineral oil in a DOT system ruins the seals in an afternoon. The fluid is printed on the lever or the reservoir cap. Send that, and the caliper model, and we can quote pads, rotors or a bleed kit.
Why do you need a chain length check?
A chain two links short can rip a derailleur off its hanger the first time someone shifts big-big. Two links long and it slaps and drops on the small cog. We will not ship a chain without working out the length from your chainstay and gearing. You can run the same sum yourself on the bicycle chain length calculator.
Who is this not for?
We do not sell complete bikes and we do not do workshop repairs. We do not stock e-bike motor parts or suspension forks. If you want a part tonight, a local shop with it on the shelf will serve you better than an inquiry desk with a one-business-day reply.

Send your bike's details. We check the fit, then we quote.
Speed count, wheel size and what's worn. That is enough to start. A photo of the rear dropout makes it faster.
